Kerrison - Punch

FEHLING INSTRUMENTS were the first to be coated with CERAMO® (an Aluminium Titanium Nitride alloy deposited by high temperature vapor deposition). As a result the instrument has superior hardness ( 5 -6 times harder than hardened steel).  CERAMO® instruments have sharper edges which stay sharper longer and hold up longer than competitive instruments. 

Your instruments will perform far longer than is possible with standard instruments. They are highly cost-effective. The benefits of CERAMO® are particularly seen in Kerrison punches and rongeurs used for spinal surgery.

The hard CERAMO® surface is chemically inert and easy to clean and sterilize.  They resists reaction with other materials during reprocessing. The dark finish is non-reflecting and improves visualisation.
